Château Royale · Château Royale, côté Bayou avec terrasse, centre-ville!

The place was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There was not an included breakfast like the description said. Even the sign on the door called it a B&B but there was no breakfast.

Wonderful place! My two boys loved fishing right on the bayou. The home was very clean, decor was so fun and location was prime! Very cute little town, we explored and shopped. We will be back! Hosts are so friendly and attentive!

Outstanding hosts & beautiful home. They were very accommodating and flexible. We came in for a funeral for a family member, and when we made our original booking, we made it for the wrong week/dates, which was no fault of the owners at all completely on us. As we were on our way into town, we realized our mistake and contacted the owners to see if there was any way to amend the booking to allow us into the house that evening and to stay for the week, plus extend our stay for a few extra days. Luckily the house wasn't rented for the week we actually needed and Mickey even prepared the house for us the night we were on our way in, we contacted him after 4pm and the house was ready for us by the time we arrived later that evening.The house itself was wonderful and had a stocked kitchen of the standard things and had an assortment of spices and condiments for us to use. It was decorated with the right amount of flare for Louisiana including decorations for Mardi Gras (we were intown for the holiday). The patio was the highlight of the trip for us as it allowed a place for the small humans to play and run while keeping them close. We had picnic meals outside for breakfast and lunch every day. The loft was a great play place for them with some extra supervision as they are young (4 & 2yrs) and climbing down was problematic for them. Overall, a wonderful place to be given the circumstances of our visit.

Such a unique stay and had everything we wanted. Right on the bayou and right in downtown. It was perfect!
