Chateau Royale❤ Bayou Bliss Downtown, w/Deck!

We spent a quick two days in this very cool house in downtown New Iberia right on Bayou Teche. So close you see the water hyacinth flowers as they float by. The house is clean and cozy and is centrally located so you can walk just about anywhere downtown. The star of the house, though, is the big, covered deck where you can watch the bayou roll by. The turf on the deck is clean and very comfy for bare feet. Mickey was right there if we had any questions or needed anything. Which we didn't. I think he's also working on the Baits Hotel right next door, which looks to be a great spot even closer to the bayou. Right on the bank. Great place in the heart of Acadiana.

The home was very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the view of the river and the area. We had a very pleasant and relaxing time.

The Chateau Royale was clean, comfortable and thoughtfully curated with many charming details. Location felt safe and ea Positive: We loved our stay at the Chateau Royale on the Bayou! The place had everything you need to make you feel at home. The home itself is charming with lots of thoughtful details and fun all around. I stayed with a teen and tween and they wanted to stay longer. My 16 year old love the “tree house” loft style room as It’s a cool little nook to hang out for the kids. The nice open kitchen and living room was a great place to cook and spend time all together. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio facing the bayou. It was great location to walk to many restaurants and shop a few little stores around the corner. We had the pleasure of meeting one of the hosts and they were easy to communicate with and very prompt! Highly recommend! Negative: There was nothing we didn’t like.

The place was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There was not an included breakfast like the description said. Even the sign on the door called it a B&B but there was no breakfast.
